Show This Friday at the Pub in Culpeper

We've just booked a show at The Pub in Culpeper for Friday night, December 20th, starting at 9:30. The address of this venue is 195 East Davis St., Culpeper, Virginia. The cost is $5.00.

To get there from Charlottesville, go north to Culpeper on 29. Take the 29 business exit, which is the first Culpeper exit. Go approximately 2 miles and turn RIGHT onto East Davis Street. The venue is right there.

Come on, Grey Matter fans... make a road trip! And if you have any friends in the DC or Warrenton area, this is a good chance to get some new faces in the crowd, so let them know about the show!

Pre-sale Tickets for the CD Release Show Now Available!

Hello everyone, first off we'd like to thank all of our current subscribers for signing up, someone had to get the ball rolling on this thing. So, again, thank you for your support!

Now, onto news.... Pre-sale tickets for The Grey Matter CD Release w/ special guest Social Viscosity are now available!! Pick them up from the IS Venue, Sidetracks, or from a band member (if you happen to know one).

Also, we want to remind everyone that over the next two weeks there will be three-song teaser discs available for free at various Charlottesville music performances. In the CD sleeves for these teasers will be a coupon. This coupon will, in turn, allow you to buy the full-length version of Grey Matter's self-titled album for $7.00 instead of $10.00 (HELL YEAH!). However, this coupon will only be good during the CD Release show at IS Venue, no other time or place.

"Well, at which upcoming local performances will I be able to obtain this teaser disc and coupon?" you might ask. Well, we don't know!! So get out on the town, support local music, and maybe (hopefully) you'll stumble serendipitously into one of our teaser-handout volunteers!

At any rate, snag those pre-sale tickets and come to the show at IS Venue on Fri Dec. 12th or you'll be missing one hell of a time!

CD Release Party

At long last, our CD Release Party is official. It will be held at IS (formerly Starr Hill Music Hall) on Friday, December 12th, starting at 10 PM. Tickets will be $5.00 in advance, $7.00 at the door.



Our first CD, Grey Matter, of course will be available for $10.00. Keep your eyes open for teaser discs around town, starting Monday November 24th. In each teaser disc, a coupon will be included that, if you bring it the night of the show, you'll get your CD for $7.00.

In addition, if you sign up for our mailing list - directly to the right - you'll get a coupon in the your email the day of the show entitling you to one free beer. What a deal!

Social Viscosity will be opening for us. They are a good blend of Police-style reggae.

We really hope we'll see you all there!

Our Coupe DeVille's Show Last Thursday - Thanks to everyone!

Our last show at Coupe DeVille's in Charlottesville last Thursday (November 6, 2008) was one of the best we've done! Thanks to the folks at Coupe's for opening the outdoor area again, and thanks to everyone who came.
